Land Programs: Restoring and Preserving Our Open Spaces
Healthy parks and natural lands are the foundation of vibrant communities and thriving ecosystems. Open Space STL is dedicated to restoring and preserving the St. Louis region’s open spaces, ensuring they remain beautiful, biodiverse, and accessible for generations to come. Through hands-on conservation efforts, we nurture the landscapes that provide clean air, water, and vital wildlife habitat.
Operation Wild Lands is a volunteer-driven program focused on restoring native habitats and improving ecological health across our region. Volunteers remove invasive species, plant native vegetation, and assist with trail maintenance in parks and conservation areas, helping nature flourish.
The Community Stewardship Alliance connects passionate volunteers with long-term restoration projects in local parks and green spaces. Through guided training and hands-on experience, CSA stewards play a crucial role in habitat restoration and land preservation efforts, ensuring our shared natural spaces remain resilient and healthy.
