Founded in 1965, Open Space STL works independently and collaboratively to conserve and sustain land, water, and other natural resources for the health and well-being of people throughout the St. Louis region.

Annually, Open Space STL volunteers donated thousands of hours of time to stewarding natural resources and restoring wildlife habitat in the STL region.

    Land Conservation

Open Space STL works to create parkland and secure greenspace for the next generation.

    Watershed Restoration

Our Operation Clean Stream project annually restores 500 miles of the river and educates the public on the importance of keeping our rivers clean.
