August Volunteer Appreciation Party and Membership Drive

When: September 10th, 2021 5pm – 8pm 

Where: Sunset Hills Aquatic Center

All Volunteers and Members are Welcome!

2020 was a challenging year for all of us, and now more than ever, we have seen how outdoor spaces, parks, rivers, and streams have proven to be good for our minds, bodies, and spirits, as well as our physical and mental health. At the Open Space Council, we want to show our gratitude and appreciation for our volunteers, ambassadors, stewards, supporters, and trip leaders who have helped navigate the challenges this past year. We have a lot to be grateful for in 2021, and we couldn’t have done it without supporters like you.

We invite volunteers and members to join us for a pool party at the Sunset Hills Aquatic Center on September 10th, 2021, from 5 pm-8 pm. There will be a DJ playing tunes, games, and activities for kids, and a 50/50 raffle. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

In addition, those who would like to become a member of the Open Space Council in August or who would like to increase their membership level will receive complimentary food and drink passes for their entire family. If you aren’t already a member, please consider a monthly or annual contribution to the Open Space Council to help us continue our important work of protecting and preserving our Open Spaces.

The event is free, but we ask that attendees RSVP through this link to let us know how many guests to expect.
