Rescheduled! Paddle for a Cause
This event has been rescheduled for September 7th due to flooding. After much consideration and monitoring weather and flooding conditions, we have decided to reschedule Paddle for a Cause for Saturday, September 7th. We worked with our outfitter to closely monitor the river and the conditions at our put-in and take-out sites for this event. Due to flooding and significant rainfall in the forecast, the site is currently not accessible for the event. We appreciate your support of our work and your understanding. We hope you will be able to join us on this rescheduled date of September 7th, and we look forward to seeing you in the fall.
It’s time for Paddle for a Cause! We’re excited to announce this year’s fun-filled float trip will be on the Missouri River from Sioux Passage Park to Columbia Bottom Conservation Area – only 30 minutes from St. Louis City!
This fun-filled float trip is approximately 3 hours long and is a great opportunity to experience the beautiful Missouri River while supporting a great cause – Operation Clean Stream! We’re excited to partner with Big Muddy Adventures and offer attendees the options to float in a signature voyageur canoe or a 2-person canoe.
A delicious picnic lunch provided by the Gramophone and community gathering will follow the float. Paddles, canoes, life jackets, shuttle, and lunch are provided. All ticket sales benefit Operation Clean Stream, our annual river cleanup and restoration event in the Meramec Watershed.
