50th Annual Operation Clean Stream a Success

Volunteers Restore the Meramec Watershed

What an amazing year for Operation Clean Stream!  Nearly 2,000 citizens came out for a beautiful weekend filled with tire plucking, trash hauling, boat riding, water-wading good times!  This year marked the 50th anniversary of Operation Clean Stream, one of the largest and longest river restoration projects in America!

We invite you to scroll down to see some images throughout the Meramec Watershed, visit our Facebook photo album and see images shared, and become a member of the Open Space Council and ensure that this work continues in the St. Louis Region!
