Forest Park Waterway Cleanup

For over 15 years, Open Space Council has celebrated Earth Day with a Forest Park stream clean up. In conjunction with the St. Louis Canoe and Kayak Club, a group of 15 removed trash and refuse from the streams, lakes and banks in Forest Park. This year we cleared 20 bags of trash comprised of mostly plastic bags, plastic bottles, other cans and bottles and golf balls. All golf balls were returned to the Clubhouse for reuse by their Youth Program. We look forward to this fun clean up again next year!
