Get Outdoors: Forest River Trail Park

Conserved by the Open Space Council in partnership with Mr. Walter Eschbach, the City of Sunset Hills and the Robert J. Trulaske Family Foundation, Nancy Escbach Forest River Trail Park is a quaint forested getaway, perfect for a morning or afternoon walk. OSC volunteers removed invasive bush honeysuckle in this park over several years to help encourage native fauna to return. OSC volunteers also built the 1/4 mile trail loop that encircles a patch of forest. Dotted with park benches along the way, you can sit and enjoy the sounds of songbirds and other wildlife.
