Operation Clean Stream 51 Wrap Up
The 51st annual Operation Clean Stream was another successful year for the Open Space Council’s premiere event. Volunteers from Arnold to Glencoe, Bourbeuse to Kirkwood worked to remove tires, trash and other debris to restore the Meramec Watershed. In all, 1,667 volunteers donated their time to remove 286 cubic yards of trash, 1,375 tires and 10,904 lbs of metals from parks and waterways. Thank you to all our volunteers for their hard work to keep our region’s open spaces cleaner, healthier and more beautiful for all.
