Your Input Needed! Restoration of Former Proposed Ice Facility Site in Creve Coeur Lake Park

In 2017, when the Open Space Council learned about a proposal to construct a privately-operated ice hockey complex on public land in Creve Coeur Lake Park, our organization immediately coordinated a coalition that stopped the detrimental facility from being built in the park. While the industrial-sized ice hockey facility was not built, 40 acres within the park was disturbed by efforts to prepare the site for the unapproved facility. This site is now in need of restoration, and St. Louis County Parks is seeking input from the public on the future use of the site.

St. Louis County Parks will host a public meeting on February 11, 2020 (7pm – 9pm) at the Maryland Heights Community Center which will include a presentation followed by breakout sessions. We encourage members of the community to attend the meeting as well as submit their comments through this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SLC_Parks.
