Operation Clean Stream: Special Winter Clean-Up

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our special winter clean up on Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th! Volunteers braved the cold and worked hard to recover debris from Meramec Riverbank. Volunteers removed about 250 tires, 55 cubic yards of trash and about 20 cubic yards of metal from the riparian zone and banks of Meramec. We had lots of helpful equipment to remove debris from the site, including donations of 2 skidsteers, 5 pickups, a tractor, atv and trailer and a side by side. Volunteers enjoyed a picnic lunch at the end of each day’s work.
