New St. Louis county park

Congratulations to St. Louis County who recently opened Schaefer Bend, a new park in Florissant.  This is the first new park for the county in 15 years.  The 15 acre parcel was donated by Ron Schaefer of Schaefer-Meyer Grading Division, Inc.  There are 13,700 homes within 2 miles of the park and I’m sure the residents will love this new open space.  Plans for the park include an athletic field, playground and restrooms.  There are now 13,000 acres of parks in St. Louis County.  – See more at: https://openspacestl.org/blog/2014/08/05/91-new-st-louis-county-park#sthash.GqZeSVba.dpuf
