Conserved in 2012, the Myron and Sonya Glassberg Family Conservation Area is an excellent place for a day hike in the LaBarque Creek Watershed, known for its exceptionally diverse ecology. Among the many charming spots to stop along the trail, you won’t want to miss the observation deck at the scenic overlook, which provides a sweeping view of the winding Meramec River. On your ascent, you’ll find markers with inspirational quotes, cairns, and benches to sit and soak up the sights, sounds and smells of the forest.
You can find the Glassberg Family Conservation Area in Eureka off of Route FF.
