Operation Clean Stream 52 Wrap Up
The 52nd annual Operation Clean Stream was another successful year for the Open Space Council’s premiere event! Volunteers from Ballwin to the Bourbeuse, Kirkwood to the Courtois worked to remove tires, trash and other debris to restore the Meramec Watershed. In all, nearly 1,500 volunteers donated their time to remove 342 cubic yards of trash, 1,322 tires and 15,275 lbs of metals from parks and waterways. Thank you to all our volunteers for their hard work to keep our region’s open spaces cleaner, healthier and more beautiful for all.
