The Passport to Meramec River Trails is new, year-long program that will encourage outdoor recreation along the Meramec River. It begins on Sat., June 4, 2011, National Trails Day, with the Greenrock Trail Challenge. Passports will be available at designated locations (see below) and through online requests here. By hiking 6 designated trails along the Meramec River, participants can get a free water bottle and 1 year membership to The Open Space Council! Just sign and date the Passport when you complete a trail. Submit completed passports to: P.O. Box 1468, Ballwin, MO 63022. The 6 trails, along with suggested starting and ending locations, are:
