Bridge will connect cyclists & pedestrians from Fenton to Kirkwood

The Missouri Department of Transportation and Great Rivers Greenway announced that a shared-use path will be put in next to the new I-44 Meramec River bridges. Cyclists and pedestrians who use the Meramec Greenway in Fenton and Sunset Hills will be able to cross the river into Kirkwood. The targeted completion date for the project is 2022. The project will be a 12-foot wide protected path would also link users to Emmeneger Park, Powder Valley Nature Center and Conservation Area, Possum Woods Conservation Area and the Laumeier Sculpture Park.
